Mojo Monday
Hmm i am not sure about this one. Used my new papers again but kept it to just the 2 colours. I used an old set that I havent used for a long time for the dress image and embossed it with copper embossing powder, I suppose it could be a wedding card.

Play Date Cafe and Sweet stop sketch
Hmmm this one was a bit tricky for me, in fact I made 2 cards using the PDC colour combo but I couldnt get the first one to photograph without the green looking yellowish. So I did another lol. I used navy blue, lime green and silver. I embossed the image on the navy using silver embossing powder. It makes a lovely male card and is soooo far away from my normal colours and combination but I think it works. Apart from the image which is from the seaworth stampin up stamp set, all other stuff is from my stock and have no idea.

Just one for the road
I actually started out with this card doing the mercy challenge but it didnt end up looking like it at all so I just finished it up as it was. I really like these non traditional colours for a xmas card and have used them quite a bit. I think the fact I have a new xmas stamp set is a bit of a motivation to make them at the moment and I have dasher too but havent even got him out yet, maybe later. Enjoy.

Mojo 157
I liked the ease of this layout today and I used my new contempo xmas stamp set from stampin up. I dont know if anyone else gets the problem with the new clear stamps with them sticking on the glass blocks. Well I decided not to put the images on the back of this set and they stick perfectly. So I got out my other sets and removed the images off the back of some of them and they stick perfectly too. A couple of the 2 step ones I eased the images up and trimmed the excess leaving just the image and they now stick ok too. Anyway, I am certainly building up my stock of xmas cards which is good. I think this card looks very elegant for some reason. I am very pleased. It just goes to show that sometimes simple is cool. You can find the link to this challenge HERE

Mercy Challenge 91
Well I really dug deep and found some very old ds papers, I love these colours but always find them a little tricky to use, dont ask me why. Anyway my friend wanted a wedding card which is up there with male cards on my hate to do scale. but I am rather pleased with the outcome. I used my heart stamp set and although I have the heart cutter it didnt leave enough round it for my liking so I cut them out instead, I embossed them to make the white brighter. I also embossed the only sentiment slightly resembling a wedding in silver. Have a go at the sketch HERE

Sweet stop sketch
Well I was up very eary today (4.45am) and as usual decided to make a card. A these times I realise how my crafting hobby can be a blessing because there isnt much you can do at the crack of dawn with everyone else asleep. I used my botanical garden stamps for this one and cant remember the last time I used this stamp. I didnt do the double stamp as I found i didnt like the way it turned out. Instead I used the outline stamp and then watercoloured the flowers and I liked this much better. I used some DS papers from the old stampin up mini and pale plum (retired) and razzleberry card stock and then stuck on some random perals. I actually like this one a lot. You can find the sketch for this week here.

Mercy Challenge 90
Here is my entry for the challenge this week. I have to say I really like this card. I used my old fav, season of joy set from stampin up, with real red cardstock and some DS papers from last year and a scrapbooking set. I really didnt want to do the stiching so I left it off. Ruby Red cardstock and the inks where old olive, real red and choc chip. You will find a link to the challenge Here

As always I try to do the mojo challenge each week. I did stuggle a bit this week and although not 100% happy with the outcome, am satisfied. You know how you sit for ages and ages and come up with nothing and other days you sit and it just falls together. I cant seem to put the razzleberry cardstock down at them moment so unfortunatly another card using it and old olive. You will find a link to this challenge Here.

Sweet Sunday Sketch
I just loved this cat I had on a old card and I decided to liberate it into a new one. I am a great one for recycling and the kids laugh at me when its someones birthday cause I case the cards for liberating. Its funny how now I cant look at cards in the same way. They are all potential as far as I am concerned. But back to this one. Who couldnt love this little kitten, she is so sweet (yes it must be a she as SHE is adorable). Check out the sketch on the link Here..

Play Date and ICS challenges
I am making the most of my new stamp set still and trying to use all of them LOL. I love the colour challenges at the Play date although sometimes I just can't do them and my creative mind goes blank. I paired this up with the ICS challenge for my layout. You can try them too, Play Date Here and ICS Here.
card stock used is from stampin up, kraft and razzelberry with some ds paper in an orange colour. stamped and cut out the guitars and stamped the sentiment straight on to cardstock.

Mercy Challenge
Well how excited was I, my stamp set from Taylored Expression arrived yesterday. i have wanted this set for a while but have never ordered anything from USA before. With current exchange rate and even with postage it was as cheap as chips in my opinion. I lost no time in using them and have made to creations for 2 challenges. This one is for the Mercy challenge and for a boy. I think it needs a something else and may take me a while to decided.
